The Hornet is available with either a classic combustion engine or as a hybrid. The combustion option is a turbocharged 2-liter four-cylinder that has 268 horsepower. The hybrid powertrain, found on the Hornet R/T, pairs a turbocharged 1.3-liter four-cylinder engine with an electric motor for 288 horsepower. The hybrid model can be driven for an EPA-estimated 32 miles before needing to switch to gasoline. The R/T has a total range of 360 miles.
The Hornet has a towing capacity of 2,000 pounds when properly outfitted. The maximum payload for this SUV is 1,245 pounds.
Stylish Design
