The Three Incredible Engines

The new RAM 3500 is designed to get things done, and the standard 6.4-liter HEMI V8 engine does this beautifully. In fact, this engine delivers a best-in-class 410 horsepower. When you need to tow a large load, you’ll have a maximum towing capacity of 18,210 pounds, and a maximum payload of 7,680 pounds.

There are also two available turbo diesel engines. The first is the 6.7-liter Cummins turbo diesel I6 engine, which is paired with a six-speed automatic transmission. This diesel engine delivers 370 horsepower, and has a maximum towing capacity of 22,660 pounds. There is also the available high-output 6.7-liter Cummins turbo diesel I6 engine, which delivers 420 horsepower and has a maximum towing capacity of 37,090 pounds.
